He received his B.A. degree in 1969 from the University of Iowa, and he earned his M.D. in 1973 from Northwestern University Medical School. From Chicago, he went to Dallas, Texas where he completed a five-year internship and residency in general surgery, followed by a two-year residency in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.He is currently an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Colorado State Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Colorado State and Boulder County Medical Societies.Dr. Kuisle is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and enhances his knowledge of plastic surgery by participating in many extra hours of continuing medical education each year.
