Your Consultation Your consultation at the Thompson Center for Plastic Surgery will be a comfortable experience where you will have plenty of time to ask questions, get information, and gain considerable knowledge about the procedures in which you are interested.After being greeted by our friendly and compassionate staff when you arrive, you will meet with Dr. Thompson to first discuss your goals in which you'd like to achieve in enhancing your appearance. Afterwards, you will be escorted to one of our comfortable exam rooms where Dr. Thompson will evaluate and discuss with you his recommendation of which procedure(s) would be most effective in helping you reach your aesthetic goals.Afterwards, one of our patient coordinators will provide you with a detailed quote outlining the cost of the procedure(s) and you will have the opportunity to ask additional questions, discuss scheduling as well as financing options, if you are interested.Consultations often run about an hour and we take special care not to overbook our schedule. Our goal is to provide the highest level of compassionate and quality care for each patient, in as comfortable an atmosphere as possible. Your Consultation Dr. Leach believes that it is important for him to understand your desired goals. He typically spends at least two sessions to get to know you, to agree on a plan, and to make sure that expectations are in line with a realistic surgical outcome.During your initial consultation, Dr. Leach will discuss your concerns and goals, review your past medical and surgical history, examine you, and then recommend the treatment or procedure that is most appropriate for you. He will then explain thoroughly how the procedure is done and describe the outcome he will most likely achieve. After all of your questions are answered about your surgery you will meet with our patient counselor. Our patient counselor will provide you with all the fees associated with the planned procedure, show you before and after photos, discuss where you would have the surgery, and give you a tour of our ambulatory surgery facility. Patient Testimonials Dr. Patel has done multiple procedures on me that have all been amazing. The best thing about him is that whatever your expectations are- his are higher. Recovery is always easy and quick for me.... I love him and I've recommended plenty of friends and family to him that are also overly happy with their results. I had been debating on getting plastic surgery for a while. After meeting with a couple doctors, I wasn't impressed. When I met Dr. Patel, he was the first surgeon to make me feel comfortable. But the size I chose ended up bringing me to a D or DD. I'm okay with that, though. The surgery went smoothly, I was able to be up on my feet again in about a week. He was always very thorough with his work and aftercare. My breasts sit a little lower than I was expecting, but I asked for as natural as possible and that's exactly what I got! It was a learning experience, and when I need them re-done I will be going to Dr. Patel again. I also see him for fillers and have been beyond happy with my results for those as well.
