I have a low-key, comfortable office, and my staff is professional and discrete. We are aware of the sensitive nature of many of our patients' problems. I also value my patients' time and try to strive not to keep them waiting. My practice includes Cosmetic, Laser, Endoscopic, Breast, and General Reconstructive surgery. I treat men, women, and children, and also accommodate those with special needs. Your Consultation Dr. Honeycutt and her staff are a health care team concerned with educating their patients and their families and sharing information with them. Our goal is to establish a successful and comfortable relationship with our patients, starting with their initial phone call to our office. Patients are encouraged to ask questions, make comments, and express their concerns. When the patient books a consultation, an office brochure with information specific to their procedure is mailed out to them so they can come to their visit prepared with additional questions. They are encouraged to bring along a family member or friend if they wish, as a good support system makes a big difference in the patient's recovery and psychological well being. Initial consultation generally lasts from one to two hours, depending on the procedure the patient is considering. Dr. Honeycutt and her registered nurses spend time discussing all aspects of the procedure, including pre-operative requirements, the procedure itself, and post-operative recovery. Pre-operative and post-operative photos of previous patients who have consented to use of their photos are reviewed. Once Dr. Honeycutt is certain that the patient is fully informed and prepared for surgery, has realistic expectations regarding the outcome, and is comfortable and confident with her and her staff, the patient may proceed with scheduling their surgery.
