Dr. Emily Kirby is a board certified plastic surgeon and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She provides cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery with an office in Fort Worth, Texas.After graduating as a valedictorian from high school, Dr. Kirby graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Kirby was accepted early to Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree (MD). While attending Texas A&M, Dr. Kirby received several awards for research, scholarship, and peer appreciation. Dr. Kirby was chosen to attend a competitive six-year integrated plastic surgery residency training program at the University of Kentucky, a Level 1 trauma center. There, Dr. Kirby completed her full training in aesthetic plastic and reconstructive plastic surgery. The following year, she finished additional training during a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the Craniofacial Foundation of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Kirby successfully completed the rigorous examination process to become board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.Dr. Kirby has shared her surgical skills with people in need around the world. In addition to volunteering locally, she has joined volunteer medical mission teams in Ecuador, China, and Mexico for over 15 years, donating her time and medical service.
